Zones

Zones lets you use your iPhone or iPod Touch as a remote control for your Sonos music system. Zones is available now in the App Store.

If you have a Sonos system in your home, you already know how fantastic it is for letting you listen to music throughout your home, either with the same music in every room (in perfect sync!) or with different music in every zone.

Now Zones lets you control your Sonos system with your iPhone or iPod Touch. Zones uses UPnP over your local WiFi network to discover your music and to use your iPhone or iPod Touch as a remote control.

The first time you start Zones it will discover all the zones in your system and sync with your music list. After that you only need to resync your music when you collection changes.

Once synced you can browse by Artist, Albums and Songs, play selections now, add them to the queue, and control playback from all of your zones.
