Mac Apps
Handy for those quick videos you want to put on YouTube, like, right now! Vidnik lets you record video from your ISight and immediately upload it to YouTube.
David Phillip Oster: “To use Vidnik, run the app, then click the record button to start recording. Click it again to stop. Trim to just the golden [...]
I’ve got a few Evernote invites.
If you want one all you have to do it to follow me on Twitter and send me a note with your email.
UPDATE: I’m all out of invites, sorry. Maybe one of the one’s that I gave an invite to can spare you one tho. Subscribe to [...]
Spaces, introduced in Leopard, is nifty. It’s fast, it’s elegant, and it’s not that useful.
Many others have written about why Spaces falls short, but the main thing is that it separates your activities by Application instead of by function. (As usual Mr. Gruber has written about this far more eloquently than I could).

It seems that the best programs in one’s software arsenal kind of sneak up on you, like a tiger in the grass.

If developers are upset when Apple kills a market (iTunes and the MP3 market, Watson v. Sherlock, and many more), can we hold [...]
Although I’ve always been a MarsEdit user, I had found myself taking advantage of it less and less recently.
That all changed when Daniel Jalkut released version 2.0 this year. Now I keep it open all the time, ready to make a post (or at least start a new draft).
It doesn’t hurt that a single [...]
